My Korea
In 1976-1977 I spent a year in South Korea as a combat medic for the Army. In that year I was stationed at two different air defense sites that were manned by soliders that maintained the "Improved Hawk Missles". These two bases were located out in remote areas of S. Korea surrounded by forests and farmland. These images were made with my first slr I purchased while in Korea, (a Canon EF body). That body still works today and I'll occasionally load up some film and shoot it just to keep all the parts moving. It's an odd feeling to look at these images of the children from the villages and think that they're now grown adults with their own families.
